I saw that clip.
I like Harper being back. We could use some veteran leadership in the locker room. Aside from Byrd, I don't think any of the other guys have played out their 1st contract. He might be a slow cover, but we never had a problem with him missing tackles. EVER! Never, ever! |

I vividly remember this one time when he went for the legs and was hurdled over by the ball carrier. Still, blitzing the passer and making tackles between the hashes were his strong suit. Pass coverage and sideline to sideline pursuit were not. |

If Harper could only half-way, measurably, cover as a defensive back...
The other facets of his game have what have given him his value... But in space, one-one against a receiver, man is that an ugly site... I'd suggest he should take up classical and ballroom dancing to improve his footwork, hips... |
