Re: Saints pursuing trade for Ronald Leary
I haven't heard much from camp about Landon Turner or Jack Allen. I had hopes that one would be a starting guard this year...

Re: Saints pursuing trade for Ronald Leary
I wonder if the reason John Jenkins missing from training with the ones is that he is a part of the trade negotiation. Add Byrd and let's get this done
The Cowboys need quarterback help, but New Orleans can't offer much in that category. The other option would be a defensive lineman -- or maybe a draft pick http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...l-ronald-leary |

Maybe they are going for him because he would be the difference between a great Oline and a phenomenal Oline. We already have Armstead who is probably the best lineman in the league, Unger who is pro bowl material, and Peat a first rounder that is showing promise. The pieces are there for a very good line, even with journeyman at the guard positions. Maybe the Saints just want to make that position group the most complete group on the team. I'm thinking it's more of a want move than a dire need. I wish we would have kept Grubbs. |
