Could it be that some of this CB & secondary success is due to more concentration on defending the pass at this point in training camp, and maybe less concentration on stopping the run that's causing Brees difficulty in finding an open receiver?
I would bet that these guys in the secondary that are fighting for positions and roster spots are playing Brees like it's 4th and 10 on every snap. |

Not sure but I know I heard Payton say a big emphasis will be stopping the run. One reason we signed Harper. Teams averaged 4.9 yards a carry last year and Payton said it has to stop.
