Defense - Attitude
One of the big things I think has been missing on the defense has been "attitude".
It seems to me that when the defense is on the field they never seemed fired up and they're just waiting on something to go wrong. Last season, I noticed Mike McKenzie brought his attitude with him and it seemed to have helped some. Charles Grant also plays with some emotion. But, besides that, there's not much in the attitude department on defense. Dwight Smith seems to be one of those emotional guys. Hopefully, the addition of Dwight will bring some much needed attitude on the defensive side of the ball. I don't know which comes first, success or attitude? But, we need some of both! Defense - Attitude
I think it\'s the attitude that you can have success that is the main ingredient. IF this team just gets both units(offense and defense) to feel like they can actually rely on each other instead of letting each other down, I think we may see a different bunch of guys, as a whole. the players coming in seem to have the right attitude, and are confident in what they do and are brigning to the table. Can\'t have enough of that.

Defense - Attitude
I think alot of our success will stem the first 3 games...
If we can win , It wil set a good tone for the Season... If we can win big....it will be huge... Though I have seen this team drop a 6 win first half of the Season before too, and we still have Venturi... If you\'ll notice...on the N.O. website..He is still listed as the Defensive Coordinator |
