Members of the New Orleans media who cover the Saints faced off against their Patriot counterparts in a game of flag football on the field at Gillette Stadium Wednesday afternoon.
Despite being greatly outnumbered and facing a former NFL quarterback, the Saints media team led by Sean Fazende and Garland Gillen of Fox 8 stunned the Patriots media team 26-12. With only bemused Patriots staffers and a pair of paramedics looking on in the empty stadium, the Saints media team won the possession battle by taking a really long time in the huddle. The slowed down pace benefited the winded visitors who had only two substitutes to the home team's dozen or so. read more |
