Re: 'You got to make them count': Preseason is Saints backup QB Garrett Grayson's stage to prove himself
i could be wrong as i am not on the saints payroll, but i feel like it would be rather surprising to see grayson not here. I think they'd give him at least two years...he was drafted in the third round

i would like to see him with the 1's for at least 2 games in preseason. might be able to latch on later if qb positions get thin. a couple of years under brees would hurt his chances.

Take what the defense gives you Garrett!

Pick one:
1. GG has an amazing preseason and we cut Luke (and tell him to leave his phone on) 2. GG performs as expected and we carry him as he #3 all year, which yes, costs a valuable roster spot (we could also play the weekly cut Friday / sign Monday game that we are known for (Palco-Tanner style)) 3. He sucks in PS, and we cut him and try to hide him on the practice squad (ala Chase, Griffin) 4. He gets hurt (legit or not) and gets another year to develop while on IR |

We all know Disaster can strike at any time there has to be a plan in place for the Backup QB. Didn't Luke have surgery at the end of last season.
