Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
So sucky but not catastrophic.
No need to rush the big guy back. Let's not forget that he is a rookie. So it's critical for him to be fully healed and in regular season condition before throwing him back into the fray. SFIAH |

Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
DISREGARD. Was writing post before I saw the previous couple of replies.
I'd say prepare for AT LEAST 8 weeks. Depending on severity/complications, could be longer. It's not just waiting for the bone to heal. It's then getting the strength back. Then it's working your way back to game shape. Then it's getting back up to speed with all the missed snaps up to then. There's stories of fibulas that took only 3 weeks to completely heal, and then there are those that say they were never the same. So whatever the case, I hope he doesn't get rushed back too early. We do still have Fairley and Davidson, so hopefully the others can step up behind them for the forseeable future. |

Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
It's devestating not having your predicted starter starting that NEVER works out, & if so name a time I like Richardson there but Jenkins isn't going to suffice there a reason we drafted Rankins where we did or even bringing Kevin Williams back would soften the blow but the damage is done
