Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
there's a lot of people on this board who have either never played football,
nor broken anything big. You're not really jumping up and down, and you really dont feel like mashing it up, when the cast first comes off... You feel more like you've just landed on another planet, and you're lucky, if you can move the limb a fraction of its normal range. Hopefully, he'll heal fast, but Im just being real. |

I was walking without a cast 2½ weeks after the injury happened. Everybody heals differently but if he "only" had a broken fibula and no other damage I am very optimistic about his recovery. |

Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
The thing that surprises me most is that Sean Payton is actually talking to the media about it.
Something has him in a GREAT mood, and I hope it's this defense. RIP Matt Ryan, visitation will be Sept. 26th and Jan. 1st. |

Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
It's a shame he'll miss all the rest of the preseason, and the coinciding reps he needs in order to become NFL ready.

Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
Can we just stop practicing and playing preseason, it always defenders that get hurt for us.
Jairus Byrd, Keenan Lewis, Hau'Oli Kikaha, Victor Butler, Stephone Anthony and now Sheldon Rankins. |

Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
This is part of why I was against this pick. I don't trust a Louiseville player. Look at Kevin White having problems so far adapting. Those Big East schools(even if no longer) don't churn out top talent or longevity.

Re: Sheldon Rankins Injured
I said either/or. Some have talent but don't last or can't make the leap. Louiseville and WV used to be in the Big East. Rankins has a chance still with some ACC experience. But White played in the poopfest known as the Big 12 and is a work in progress. Even CJ can't get him to play lights out so far.
