They all walked off the field on their own.

Players with torn ACL's can walk off the field themselves though.

True. But I've always wondered how often that walk further damages their knee injury. Tears it the rest of the way. Why? Pride, ignorance, or carelessness.

If it were me with the million dollar future salary on the line, I'd sit there and wait for the darn cart.

I blew both knees playing. I walked to the sideline both times. When your knee goes it goes. It doesn't get further damaged walking slowly to the sideline.
