this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Was it chemistry with new DC? Was it his injury(s) and slow recovery? Was it the fact that he's 30 and it's unknown if he'll ever be close to 100% again? I'd say Yes, Yes, and Yes. Next!...

Re: Keenan Lewis Released
Sounds like he's finally breaking down and the Saints know it.
With so many great young prospects waiting their turn it really makes sense. Much respect for Westbank. He gave it his all for us. |

Re: Keenan Lewis Released
Well, another screwup by Loomis. Give him more guaranteed money and cut him within the year.

Re: Keenan Lewis Released
As I just referred to in my previous post, this is by no means a screw up by Loomis. You cannot factor an injury into the evaluation. It had nothing to do with the deal. Injuries are simply a part of the game. You can hate on Loomis all you want, but this isn't on him at all.

Just my opinion of course but I hate players crying about contracts to the public. If I ran to my boss I would be running to the unemployment line within a week. |

Cap is no longer an issue with the Saints. I know that's difficult for some to realize with all the misinformation that has been spread by talking heads that know less about the cap than they know about humility. |
