No way we lose the supper bowl this year
The NFL will "give" us a SB like they did after Katrina as some claim. After 911 they gave the Patriots one so its our turn again.

Super Bowl is just a short drive across I-10 this time.
Might be our lucky year! Hard to beat the post season and the big show under roof and out of the cold. |

Re: No way we lose the supper bowl this year
One of my favorite Dome memories was, I think it was in the Vikings opener of 2010. Some penalty or other was called, helping the Saints, and during the quiet after the penalty (we were on offense), there were these two loudmouth Vikings fans seated a couple rows down in front of us, who complained loudly about "Katrina refs".
And then a short while later, another flag drops, and I yell in their direction, pretending I'm yelling at the refs: "That's right! My momma lost her house! Give us another first down!" as the refs go marking off the yards. Everybody around us laughed and smiled -- people started throwing in their own comments, "D-mn straight!" "Yeah you rite!" "About time!" "Call one for me too!" and all this other stuff. Those Vikings fans were just so ticked off. They slunk deep into their seats and I don't think they said another word the whole night. |
