Who would we want from Vandy? Jay Cutler? None of those teams you mentioned put out as many top round talents as LSU.

That being said, I don't actually believe he "hates" LSU. But as I've said in the past, it's very odd when you have a local team that puts out that many players in positions of need, that you wouldn't at least take late round picks on them. It almost seems like Sean wants to make a point that he isn't going to cave into fan pressure. He shouldn't take a player just because he plays for any of the teams in Louisiana. But LSU is one of those teams that consistently puts out elite talent.

The Patriots, Cardinals and Bills seem to think very highly of LSU players. The Saints think very highly of Ohio State players. If you pay close enough attention, you will notice that certain teams build something of a pipeline with particular schools. It isn't just luck. I think it's a trust thing, as well.

All the other teams are in collusion with teams who "build something of a pipeline?" How do they know the player they want will be in the "pipeline" when they select?

Nobody other than you is suggesting there would need to be collusion. If you were selecting multiple players, every year, from the same schools, then that might raise a red flag. But when you take a fairly high number of players from the same school, over the years, it suggests that you value not just the players themselves, but you trust in that school's ability and reputation to prepare it's players. The fact that other teams aren't jumping on those players before your team does is very simple. They don't share the same value.

You don't have to know the player will be there. The track record suggests that WHEN those players are available these teams I mentioned are jumping on the opportunity.

So sick of non thinking fans diminishing BB by just saying he cheats all day so stupid. They are just afraid or envious of a good coach.

I don't go around twisting words, buddy. You ASKED that question suggesting that any sort of "pipeline", as I put it, would have to involve collusion by other teams. And I gave you my answer.

Whether or not you believe in the whole love/hate thing, the reasoning why some think that is very straight forward. The Patriots have selected a bunch of LSU players, and Sean has done the opposite.
