Payton does like his Sproles and Spiller type players and they are hard to find. That might be the only way. He can play multiple positions, not that great at any of them but I could see him getting called back later on if needed.

No.

Nobody wants Murphy to do great more than the Saints, but it's up to the player to keep the roster spot. They can't help what you've put on film.

Secondly, you still muff punts and fumble at crucial times when Payton makes a MAJOR point of emphasis on turnovers this offseason? If you had to mess up, do it anywhere but there. How can you build a culture if you tolerate what you're trying to eliminate? Unfortunate.

I like him. I would want to keep him but I think Cadet is the better back. I think Murphys fumble problems can be fixed. Really wouldn't hurt my feelings either way.
