I think/hope he was signed to start on the opposite side of Jordan. If he starts my bold prediction is that both he and Jordan will have double digit sacks...

Give me anywhere from 8 to 12 sacks and we can call it the steal of the year. If he and Cam Jordan can both get about equal sacks and hurries we'll be dangerous.

Browns were trying to save money and they lost a good player.

I expect PK to be our starting DE by week 3.

I think he adds the dimension we've been missing that don't necessarily show up on stat sheets but end up on less 3rd down conversions.

Predict 6 1/2 sacks, 2 FF on the year. Top 15 in QB hurries.

If he can get anywhere near the amount of QB hurries he got and record 6+ sacks I would be happy, 8-12 sacks and i'lll be ecstatic.

I had to look this up - > Kruger ranked 5th in 2015. 33 defensive hurries (Cam Jordan was 11th w/16). A hurry is a huge disruption of timing for a QB. KRUGER|FAIRLEY|DAVISON|JORDAN ... dude that is a talented D line.

Kruger is gonna help our defense tremendously.

Yes! That's exactly what I've been screaming for years. Just get pressures. Everyone is always so caught up in sack numbers. Sacks are important, they change field position, but as long as you are disrupting the QB and getting off the field, that's the main thing.

Will Smith, rest his soul, but he was one of those guys who might give you double digit sacks but he wasn't consistently in the backfield. I'll gladly take less sacks if it means more pressure. I'd like to have the best of both worlds, but we have to take what we can get.

Not sure what the difference is between a pressure and a hurry, but I read that he had 50+ pressures last year. So this gives us two proven commodities on each end. If the interior pressure lives up to the hype then it's going to be a rough year for opposing QB's

Solid play is all I could ask for. Containment on the end and pressure. Sacks will come with collapsing the pocket.

No difference in a pressure and a hurry, it just gives the stat pedants something to plug into a spreadsheet.

Just contribute to wins. If the Saints win and he is a contributing factor (sacks, pressures, stops, and/or leadership) then it will be considered a fantastic signing.

Hold the edge and either get sacks or cause enough disruption that others get them. I dont care if he gets three sacks if he is causing others to get them and forcing hurried throws
