Don't think so. He played in just about every game last season.
Bobby went from a starter to getting cut in one year. Goes to show you how bad our DL was in 2015.

FWIW, he didn't do a whole lot in camp this year.

Lots of teams cut aging vets and then re-sign them after week 1 so that their contracts aren't guaranteed in full.

I think Murphy will be used more than Spiller. Much better hands in the passing game. If not for the fluke return issue would not have been a question.
