I'll get to it sometime tomorrow. I have schoolwork now.

Jarrad Davis ILB/OLB Florida 6012 238 4.78 #40 Sr
good speed great intensity. great blitzer, sideline to sideline in the run game but struggles stack and shedding blocks resulting in over pursue and being a bit out of control at times. better suited in a 4-3. .He's powerful at the point of attack, projecting as a quality run-stuffing presence on the inside, but is also productive as a rusher and in coverage.

He is a system limited and the way the sainst jump from 34 to 43 worries me. DE and DT upgrades are needed to keep him clean.

What did you dig up Will?

couple of late rounders of possible interest

I love Jarrad Davis' game. has some similarities to Foster, but the biggest knock on him is health. He was injured a lot at Florida, but i'd absolutely select him in the 2nd round if we go DL or CB in the 1st. reminds me a little of Kwon Alexander.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread

It's hard to decide who is second between him and McMillan. Davis had speed certainly but he could not wrap up. Too often in the two games I saw he lets players run right by him, he had a sack on the Bama QB and let him get away. Also McMillan has been coached by Urban Meyer. Have to think McMillan will adapt quicker. Also, the fact that Davis has been hurt on top of us already having injury issues, that's more of a reason to keep him third. He's got to show something in the combine but he may not be able to participate. But I am not for taking him in the first two rounds.

1.Reuben Foster

2.Raekwon McMillan

3.Jarrad Davis

As we saw with Rankins last year, a lot cannot be judged from college performance. That's why things will change with the combines.

OLB is next.

Re: 2017 draft prospects thread

Raekwon McMillan really does not impress me. he is good but at the next level I am not as sold as most. Some one needs to sell me on him this high in the draft. He reminds me of Stephone Anthony. More of a read and react player than instinctual player like Foster and Davis. I feel the same way about Malik Hooker. Then again I like Gareon Conley over Marshon Lattimore for the same reasons. So I am opposite on almost all oSU players than what I read

Rankins excelled in the flashy stats as expected but his run defense has a long way to go. Same goes for Nick Fairley. their skill sets are pretty much the same. Both could use a run stuffing DT to help them out. Year one was about what expected. Can not wait to see if he can take that next step and hold up against the run better.
