not that I\'m casting aspersions on any potential draft choice, but if Derrick Johnson is a key target, isn\'t a Wonderlich score of 21 an indication of either illiteracy or sub-par native intelligence? Don\'t the Saints have enough talented but truly dumb players?

I\'m consistently amazed at these scores. You\'re right, 21 seems low, but look at some guys that you would think would be smart and they probably won\'t blow you away either. (Some of the QBs did very well.) For whatever reason, I thought Mike Nugent (OSU) would be smart...I guess because he\'s a dorky kicker. He only has a 23.

The funny thing, the test is not that hard. I took it last year and got every single one right, honestly. It\'s all stuff that you would think people straight out of a top flite school would have fresh on their minds. I was a good student, but by no means the best. I would think that at least a couple of people would get them all right.

i have taken the wonderlic also. for some jobs i think it can be very insightful. if i was a coach, i wouldnt care much unless they were dragging the bottom, dumb as a rock. anybody remember chuck muncie? a thousand yards and functionally illiterate.

dj wasn\'t that terrible in comparison either. highly rated ILB odell thurman 12. in fact half of the first round picks will have a score no higher than his. look at these million dollar babys- jammal brown 12, elton brown 13, pacman jones 13, j.j. arrington 13, carlos rogers 14, erasmus james 17, brandon browner 19, thomas davis 19, shawne merriman 19, alex barron 19, cedric benson 19, mike williams 20, troy williamson 21, antrell rolle 21, marlin jackson 21, dan cody 21, mark clayton 21, etc.

Not surprising - programmers are the second highest average on the list.

Averaged out over 50 questions that means my Wonderlic would be a 46 or 47. LOL. Bow down! :)
