Saints & Brees re-start contract negotiations
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I haven't looked into it but lets say his number drop big time this year or even next how much money will be be costing us in dead money if we cut him or have to move on from him?...

He hasn't shown any drop off whatsoever to this point. He is in better physical condition than the average NFL QB ten years younger. He has no more likeliness to suddenly drop off as any other healthy QB and therefore no more risk.
