But I do, all the same, have opinions on certain decisions. The point I'm trying to get across in the spirit of not concerning ourselves with things we have no control over, is that we as fans have no control over ANYTHING, anyway. We might as well not watch football, because why concern ourselves with winning or losing. We don't play for them, and we don't have any legal stake in the organization. But clearly, we still care. So while I don't promote panic or overly negative content, I don't think it's bad to question the team. It's easy to say it doesn't matter, but you have to stop and remember what you are as a fan and know that if we're really honest about it, we're all just a little nutty. That's not a bad thing. Now SOME people have a tendency to say some really outrageous things. I won't name them, but we all know who they are. Those are the types I try to ignore as much as possible until I feel like my head is going to explode if I don't say something. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
