Re: Spiller or Murphy?
You in a twenty team league? Been doing heavy duty fantasy football for twenty years. The key is the scoring. Spiller will definitely get more offensive opportunity than Murphy, but return yardage can add up with Murphy slated to cover both duties. With the new kicking rules Murphy may be actually returning on every kickoff if the Raiders kick short. What is your scoring breakdown?

Re: Spiller or Murphy?
In that last pre season game vs the Ravens, Murphy rushed 6 x's for 31 yards. He also caught 3 passes for 28 yards. As for kick off duty (his specialty), he returned two for a combine 53 yards.
Marcus is hardly awful. Edit: See stats below from his rookie campaign. http://www.pro-football-reference.co...15/returns.htm |

Re: Spiller or Murphy?
Other than the returns, Ingram, Hightower and Spiller will be handling most all of those duties.

Believe me I am forever hopeful! Even if it doesn't show up in my posts. I will be more than happy to eat my share of crow if he tears it up.
