Only problem on Sunday with the flag, and you can see it in Mikey's picture,
there wasn't enough people holding it on the goal line and it dropped to the ground twice while opening it up. That was right in front of my seats.

Re: Only 1 question

I have a problem with people kneeling, raising fists, or doing anything during our national anthem or that of any country. Athletes stand in respect during the anthems of other countries who participate in the Olympics. Americans stood for the Russian National Anthem during the Soviet era - the USSR was the most oppressive and destructive tyranny during the 20th century. They stand in respect of those who are not the tyrants and those who sacrifice for good.

By the standards of protesters, no one would stand for ANY country. It's a slap in the face of every EMS, firefighter, cop, and soldier who sacrifices their lives to help the sick and poor and keep us safe. You say "they get paid" - sure they do, but tell that to their wives and husbands and children after an EMS worker, firefigher or cop get shot trying to save a life. Most people go to work and don't have to worry about widowing their spouse and kids by the end of their shift.

The national anthem is not a time for anyone's personal, social or even charitable quest. An organization sponsored sporting event is NOT a time for freedom of speech, especially when you are employed by the NFL, NBA etc. who essentially funded the event with a stadium, employed vendors for the game, and pay huge salaries to players doing the protest.

Try to protest the flag at your own place of work and see how you get treated!!! They will send you home. try to sue them and see what any lawyer will tell you - you don't own that business so go protest elsewhere. Burn a flag at the insurance company you work for. Put on your protest t-shirt and go to work at the Hospital you work for....see what happens.

All rights to and funding for those games belong to the NFL and they should force players who want to disrespect the National Anthem to do so outside of the stadium.

The league has lost its way under Roger Goodell. I'm sorry, but players can protest without making a mockery of our flag and anthem.

I thought the same thing. At first I thought they were just too young or too stupid to realize what they were doing, but the Black Panthers have been very visible in the whole #BlackLivesMatter deal. And then you had Beyonce Super Bowl tribute to the Black Panthers that pissed off the sponsors.
