What is the gameplan? How do we think it will affect the defense? Do we have a running game? Do we have a defensive line? |

Not gonna be pretty fellas. Their defense has improved with Snacks and Hankins making a tough duo to run on so don't expect much from Ingram. Our defense has possibly gotten worse since we played them last year thanks to the Breaux injury. Gonna take another Herculean effort from Drew.

We've got a bunch of mediocre to underachievers all across that line and that includes Jourdan. I mean Fairley looks good but that's it friends and he can't do it all by himself. Dennis Allen who I don't think is anything but a DB coach is gonna need to be very and I mean VERY creative with some contingency blitz packages for this game. Who knows, maybe the whether just might help the Saints this week.

I think the stiffer the wind the more chance we have and if it's raining will make the footing a little more difficult. Remember if not for one play our defense would've held Oakland to 92 yards rushing and we let Oakland score 25 points in 18 minutes after Breaux was a no geaux.

FWIW - Stats of Brees/Payton vs Giants:
2015 - 52-49 Saints 2012 - 52-27 Giants (No Payton) 2011 - 49-24 Saints 2009 - 48-27 Saints 2006 - 30-7 Saints Brees sure hasn't had a problem lighting up the G-Men over the years. I'm sure NY fans are praying for heavy rain ![]() |
