But that's what I don't understand Jnormand, if the plan was to contain Carr and keep him in the pocket how will that be effective?

Even an average QB would carve a defense up with 5 seconds in the pocket like we gave Carr, and Derek is a pretty good QB.

You don't stop a QB by giving him time to throw, you rattle him by getting in his head, we let Carr get way too comfortable.

Agreed. But I think they really thought it was working for the first few quarters so they just stuck with it. They dropped more into coverage. Let's see what happens this week.
