You don't give that guy the contract they gave him if you don't think he brings something to the table.

Even if we accept your opinion, you are admitting either way that they made a mistake. They either shouldn't have signed him or shouldn't have cut him.

But... I thought we weren't allowed to say they made a mistake?

Look back. I said earlier in this thread that they made a mistake in signing him. The point I was arguing was that it wasn't a mistake to cut him when Breaux got injured. And Spiller never put up big yards in the passing game. He had somewhere around 460 yards once and never more than 269 in any other season.

True, but Spiller was used FAR more often than Cadet.

There's a reason Spiller was used more in Buffalo than Cadet has here.

When the game was on the line Manning went to Cruz and he converted

When we needed a score to go ahead, Brees looked at Coleman and Fleener, that's the problem.

Fleener is soft.

Cadet inconsistent.

Coleman
is a wasted roster spot.

Yes, he was one of two main backs. The Saints had Ingram, Hightower and Khiry Robinson last season.

The same way I have looked at every game, every season since 1967.
