He and Bryd will likely be the first cuts this offseason.

I like Ellerbe but this organization keeps showing how poorly managed it is. We cut Lewis because he couldn't get healthy, yet we let Ellerbe sit on pretend IR for 2 years... We would probably enjoy having Lewis right now.

I think the lack of consistency that you're talking about probably has more to do with depth. But I do agree Byrd needs to go.

Have got to change the culture in this team - soft and unmotivated.

Guys making millions to soak is the problem and a great point.

Let's not forget we cut Westbank (Lewis) because he wasn't "available."

Aside from Byrd, who's been less "available" than Dannell Ellerbe?

There's definitely some inconsistency from the Saints front office.

Are we surprised the team may no longer be "heeding the call to arms" on Sundays?
