Yep and at least Vonn Bell will be hungry to prove himself which should give us more of a spark at that position. Now I'm curious as to what the other moves will be that was mentioned in that tweet.

Bell needs game time to get him ready. Get any errors out the way now. Once Williams and Breaux are back i like the look of the secondary

Its time we went back to signing the value free-agents to plug holes like Jabari Greer, Keenan Lewis, Lance Moore, Raphael Bush, Bobby McCray, Anthony Hargrove, Scott Fujita etc.

We seem to strike out on the big money splash guys.

He looks good trailing the play and pilling on after the running back is on the ground. Soon he will be trailing by more than 2 steps and won't even be at the play in time to pile on, they will be getting up to reset for the next Play.

Hey, I'm glad Sean's benching guys that aren't making the cut. Good decision. He'll have to swallow some pride and admit that he was wrong. I'm fine with that. Just put the best players on the field.

We all knew this was going to happen. I really never thought Byrd would make any impact because of the defense and how they had him lining up.

Regarding Spiller....i think we all expected him to look good and play well in whatever role he would be used in....too bad our front office is too blind too see it.

Glad Saints made the right decision and Byrd got the bench. We'd be 0-4 right now if we didn't have Bell in their to tackle hard and force the Gordon fumble.

Finally getting brave by benching a player. I waiting all season for them to bench browner and it never happened. Von bell looked much faster, more athletic in general and hits waaaaayyy harder.

FWIW, Byrd may have been benched but he is still a true professional. Noticed him coaching Bell on the sideline after that blown coverage TD.

Byrd always looked like the mind was willing...
The body just wouldn't go: gears slipping, sputtering and back firing...
Always a step or three late.
He can definitely help the younger guys with his experience and support.
Kind of expensive for a DB coach.

Bench anyone who gets beat a lot, misses blocks, misses tackle and commits turnovers. we have 3 fumbles and 3 interceptions thru 3 games and are plus one on takeaways. We're ranked 12th best in penalties. We're 6th in total offense. We've allowed the most points in the NFL but we're 3rd in points. There are a lot of bright spots for us so far and I agree get rid of the crap and start the younger players. Even if we end up 7-9 and the younger players kill next season that's better than having no chance at all with the older used up models.

Not sure we can afford to bench him right now. After watching the game yesterday I believe the only other lb worse in pass coverage is his replacement Robertson.
