Not really surprised here ... 3 years ... three years Nick has been rated as a top DT. He was no fluke coming out of Auburn. Add to it that he is closer to home and seems more mature now.
I personally hope the Saints re sign this guy in the off season. |

Nick Fairley is making the kind of impact we hoped for when we signed him. The problem is that it is basically a one year contract and I wonder where the motivation will come from if we sign him to a deal? Will he stay motivated each and every play? I'd be willing to give him a two or three year deal with some heavy incentives to help keep him motivated.
Davison and Onyemata have some serious potential too. This is a good young group that can go places with good coaching...........oh crap. I forgot about Johnson. So much for that theory. |
