Any predictions after a few weeks of camp? Win/Loss
After only a few weeks of camp, people are taking about how many wins and loses the Saints will register this season. Of course I mostly hear 8 and 8; what a tootie answer. That's so easy to say, but if you feel that way go right ahead. I'm going 2 less than toot and daringly saying 10 and 6. WOW! Man, the first 7 games look tough (except for Detroit(knock on wood))- we might go 1 and 6 after that run, but you never know.... :D
9/8 at Tampa Bay Sun. 3:15 p.m. 9/15 GREEN BAY Sun. Noon 9/22 at Chicago Sun. Noon 9/29 at Detroit Sun. Noon 10/6 PITTSBURGH Sun. Noon 10/13 at Washington Sun. Noon 10/20 (Dale Carter returns) SAN FRANCISCO Sun. Noon YIKES :o |

Any predictions after a few weeks of camp? Win/Loss
First two weeks are usually the underdog , week one is a mad house . Saints are the underdog in the first .
Tampa Bay = win , new coach , new system , no Dunn . Saints win . Green Bay = win , Favre has not got timing down by then with new receivers Chicago = win , feels right Detroit = win , Deuce is wild in this one . Pittsburgh = loss , the bus exposes a weakness Washington = loss , Arrington keys on Deuce and Spurrier lines up 5 receivers to expose our weakness , the db\'s San Francisco = win , we are back against an old foe and want to send them off the right way . How I see it in the first 6 games , not calculating injuries or who is under center . 10 - 6 seems good . |

Any predictions after a few weeks of camp? Win/Loss
Well, since it\'s early (and there\'s nothing wrong with dreaming) I\'m gonna say the Saints end up 13-3. ...and no, I\'m not smoking crack. I was a Braves fan when they couldn\'t beat Georgia in Spring Training back in the 70\'s and 80\'s...so why can\'t the Saints turn it around too? We\'ve been loosing long enough. And listen, all debates about who should start or get paid or sent packing aside (and the owner \"situation\" too), this is a TALENTED football team. Haz is a good coach who\'s on his way UP I tell ya. Remember Jimmy J could only manage one win in his first year. We had a GREAT draft this year, and I forsee another good one next year. This team needs a good attitude and a few breaks. We had the talent to beat the Bucs last year but not the attitude. I think we\'re at least as talented, definately deeper, and hopefully the swager will return . 13-3 ya\'ll. See you in the NFC Championship game! I\'m forever hopeful. Maybe thats whats wrong with me!

Any predictions after a few weeks of camp? Win/Loss
I have come to call this Saints fan vision .
Every year at the beginning of the season my little woman asks me , how are the Saints going to do this year ? I reply , they are going undefeated and all the way to the Superbowl . About mid season she asks , how are they doing so far ? They are still in the play off hunt even though the league has decided to hire the three blind mice to officiate all our games . The end of the season she asks , are the Saints in the Super Bowl ? My answer is No . She asks what happened ?? My answer is , nothing the draft won\'t fix... |

Any predictions after a few weeks of camp? Win/Loss
Hmmm...I\'m going to say an optimistic 11-5.
Tampa Bay-win, new system, Bucs not together yet. Green Bay-win, Favre shows flashes but not everyone is on the same page. Chicago-loss, Bears just don\'t know when to quit, they win in close one. Detroit-win, just too many holes to fill on the Lions roster, Sloan has a field day. Pittsburgh-loss, this could go either way, give the edge to the Steelers. Washington-win, Spurrier doesn\'t have a clue when gameplan goes out the window, Haslett seeks revenge for comments made by Spurrier on time spent in office. San Francisco-win, just for old time\'s sake. |

Six of the first 7 games are brutal.
Tampa- Week 1. Payback for the whipping last year. W Green Bay- Defensive struggle. 13-10. L Chicago. Defensive struggle 17-10. L Detroit. Duece 18 detroit. 3 W Pittsburgh. Ouch L Washington. Danny Wuerfful Welcome back. W San Fran. Ricky\'s not here to drop the GW TD in the End Zone. W Atlanta Everyone know atlanta wins in New Orleans. L Carolina. No need for last second heroics this year W Atlanta Everyone know we dominate in the ATL W Cleveland. Brooks to Horn on a hail mary W Tampa. Decides the division. W Baltimore. Florida Marlins of Football. W Minnesota. Moss will already have packed it in for the season. W Cincinnatti. Gus Frerotte. W Carolina. Sit the regulars rest for the Playoffs. Saints 34 Carolina 3 So as you can see 12-4 is a good way to start in a new division. [Edited on 7/8/2002 by whodatsaintsfan26] [Edited on 7/8/2002 by whodatsaintsfan26] |

Tampa Bay: W, L
Atlanta: W, L Carolina: W, L Green Bay: L Chicago: L Detroit: W Pittsburgh: L Washington: W San Francisco: L Baltimore: W Cleveland: W Minnesota: L Cincinatti: W I mark it 8-8. I\'m a huge Saints fan, but I\'m down to earth. The only way we\'re going to win more than eight games is if we trade (and I mean now) for a third corner. Fred Thomas, Keyou Craver, and Ken Irvin cannot line up across from some of the three receiver sets we\'ll be seeing early in the season. |

i dont understand what your saying? Recievers we are going to see? who might these top recievers be? Most of the teams in our division dont have many talented recievers. Maybe and i mean maybe one good reciever on each team. Tampa bay has keyshawn, mccardell is alright but right now he is hurt. as for the teams not in our division there is green bay with terry gleen. dont know how he is going to play after a year off? Bears have no recievers and no quarterback all they do is drop the ball off to the RB. Pittsburgh has decent with plaxico burress and hines ward. i think we will be fine if we can get pressure on the Qb
