8-8

Today, two things that needed to happen for a potential 11-5 did not happen and one thing did not happen for 9-7.

We lost at KC to not be able to go 3-1 against the AFC and TB won at SF, in which Arizona and SF have won 3 of 4 combined home games at least against the NFC teams in the division they play each year since 2011. Further, SF has a bye in between TB and us. Chances are they will not lose both.

Seattle-W. We don't fall to 2-5 that easily. We will fight and claw our way through this but it will be ugly. But we aren't beating Sherman heads on. This is a game where we will have to score to win.

@SF-L. And we will have the dubious distinction of being the first team to lose to Kaepernick in 2016.

Den-W. Broncos are on b2b road games and given the way Oakland's looked against tougher defenses, Denver will probably win there and be a little gasses here. Just like Seattle will be after they beat up on Arizona. I think at home our offense can win hopefully and the defense should not have trouble limiting DT and Sanders for the most part. Our offense is better than SD and they beat Denver. Besides we have to go 2-2 against AFC because we went 1-3 two years ago and 2-2 last year.

@Car-The funny thing is we're trying to get to .500 here but I can't do it. I see 3-3 division no matter what. L

LA-W. We have nine days rest and this is the worst offense in the league.

Det-W. Assuming bucs beat bears(yes we need that to happen), we have what it takes to beat this team. It could be like last year but I don't think with Thomas now that we only score 3 points in the first half. And now we are .500.

@TB-What happens when we get to .500 recently? We lose the next game. But not here. TB has better chance to beat us in NO. And I'm going that route. W

@Ari-L. Yes, we almost had a shot last year but still Arizona at home is too much. And by this point they are playing for the playoffs with a higher chance to get in than us.

TB-Bucs put the nail in our season. L

@Atl-Elminated? We get revenge either way. W

Now we could sweep carolina and get swept by falcons but who wants that?

Final record is 7-9 again or 8-8. Detroit being that toss-up.

Re: 8-8

If we didn't have all the injuries, we'd be a playoff team easily.

That's because they were playing each other in a divisional game.

Re: 8-8

What is it about the last two seasons and the 2-4 start this season, makes you think any of this can happen?

I'm with 8-8.
We score enough to beat anybody...
Soft as tissue paper on defense.

Re: 8-8

I keep hearing when Breaux and Rankins get back we will be okay, we will be way out of playoff contention by the time those guys get back.

So far out of playoff contention theres no point rushing them back, we are headed to a pretty high draft pick.

Re: 8-8

I really don't care what our record is or will be.

Either we make the play offs are we don't. There is no way this team is a play off team so it doesn't matter. Except for where we are drafting.

Re: 8-8

It would good to make a run for the division and at least knock out Atlanta
to make things interesting. But I agree with all the injuries we have poor
depth to say the least.
