The Return of Jimmy Graham
So, the Seahawks have finally put their broken toy soldier back together so that he can start in a return to the Superdome.
What should the Who Dat Nation response be? A) Standing Ovation for the years of excitement he gave us B) Polite Applause for someone who was once part of our beloved Black & Gold family C) Boos for the enemy Just curious. I live in the Philly area and I KNOW what an Iggles response would be! |

Re: The Return of Jimmy Graham
B.
I will always give Jimmy all respect for what he has accomplished in his time with the Saints, especially given the circumstances of how he got there. He was a fantasy beast for a long while for those who do that thing and he was an invaluable weapon for Drew prior to his drop-off before he left. But I always caution against what is perceived to be as idolatry to anyone who puts on the Black and Old Gold. I believe there is only 15 Saints in their 50 years who can merit a standing ovation. |

Re: The Return of Jimmy Graham
Didn't Jimmy send a tweet to Akiem Hicks saying something like "thank god you left that place"
I wouldn't be surprised if others haven't forgot that, trades happen in football but he was extremely immature about the whole matter. He was a great player but was definitely immature with us, the most telling game was when he tried to start a fight with Seahawks linebackers before the game and ended with one catch for 4 yards. |

Re: The Return of Jimmy Graham
Can you blame players for being p1ssed. He was a major part of the team, just been given a franchise size contract then traded away to the other side of the country with no say in the matter. Would he have signed a new deal if he knew he would be traded?
Trades happen but players dont have to be happy about it. He hasn't said thing like JG so i dont blame him for not being happy |

Re: The Return of Jimmy Graham
If Graham would have been a better blocker like Shockey or Gonzalez I doubt he would have been traded.
But that and the wringer he put the Saints through over being paid as a TE/WR made trading him easier to swallow, plus we got a great center out of the deal! |

Re: The Return of Jimmy Graham
When Graham was humble and hungry he was unstoppable
Then his face was on the nfl network 24/7 on a contract for 8 months Once Talib and the Patriots showed that you could hold on to him all the way down the field with no flags other good secondarys took him out ofbig games The defiant goal post slam dunks were the nail in his coffin I would like to see him get cheers but I fear he will get booed Especially as part of our nemesis arch rival |
