The FOX announcers today

Believe me, as bad as Fox was biased for the S'hawks; well, you gotta watch the unedited rebroadcast of the Pats @ the Bills today...as once poster said "pure gold"

On the contrary, this had to be one of the worst called games I have ever heard in all my years of watching football. The announcers were so against the Saints and so biased against us, it made it almost miserable to get into the game. It's not about what we've done in the past, it's about what's going on currently during the game. I don't need some douchebag commenting on the game that's going on currently, wrapping their lips around the ball sack of the opponent. If there wasn't such a delay I would listen to WWL to Jim & Deuce

I think another reason for the ratings drop is having to listen to the announcers. If it isn't a bias during the game it's trying to make a soap opera out of the players and coaches. One of the good things about listening to Jim and Duece is they call it like they see it in a fair way. If we get mugged they call it. If we mug someone they say we got away with one or legit call by the refs.

I do it every week.
Even if it's horribly out of sync, I'd rather listen to the radio 2 minutes ahead then listen to the joke reality tv stars they put up for these games. Geez.

I'd love to be able to turn down the tv and turn up the radio, but I don't like having the play given away 10 seconds before I see it.

It would be swell if they would stop hiring so many new announcers all of the time. Nowadays, it seems like all players want to be "analysts" when they retire, and the networks just stick them in there. They all feel a need to have something to say, so they will harp on anything that gives them a chance to hear themselves talk.

I've been listening to the World Series on the radio instead of watching this year. That pretty much sums up how I feel about Fox sports broadcasters.
