Re: 7 signs of encouragement after the Saints' latest win
My signs of encouragement.....1. D gave the ball to Brees with the lead and 4 min to go. D got stops. I'll take that. 2. Hightower looked like the real deal. 3. Michael Thomas is legit. Cooks has a ridiculous vertical and Fleener is becoming a consistent contributor.

Why does this have to be an 8 page slide-show?

Re: 7 signs of encouragement after the Saints' latest win
The biggest sign of encouragement for me is the fact that our division sucks, we only have one loss, we can beat Atlanta any time and any place, and the playoffs are structured in such a way that a team with a losing record can get into the postseason. We can get hot at the right time and catch some teams sleeping.

Re: 7 signs of encouragement after the Saints' latest win
If we beat up on the 9ers this weekend, I might allow myself to get a little excited.
If Rankins, Sterling Moore and Breaux don't play this weekend and the defense still shows up like it did last weekend, I really think we are going to start making a run. Because I really think once all those guys come back, it's gonna make a big difference (especially Moore and Breaux). If they don't play this weekend, I'm sure they'll be around for week 10. Hey...If we can get into the low 20's defensively, we might have a shot. But man we need to get some more pressure and get more turnovers. I sure would like to see this team come together in the second half of the season. |
