this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Ingram vs Hightower is a good problem to have. There are other teams in the league that due to injuries basically have no RB - Vikings, Chiefs, Packers, etc....

The difference is even though Brees may turn the ball over, he keeps us in the hunt every season with elite play. Ingram is average at best, he runs into the back of lineman consistently, there is no elite level for Ingram, just mediocre.

Ingram is average at best I agree with that statement. Brees is from a different planet the I can't even see how you can compare the both.

Looking at the Ingram draft hindsight it was actually a good move. Really nobody after him that did squat.
Hoping they al least start splitting work. Hightower is hungry. |

Hightower and Lasco ought to light up the 49ers. Then let's see if Ingram can earn back his spot when he's highly motivated.

Re: Hightower: I will prepare for whatever Saints need me to do
Ingram reminds me a lot of Mario Bates with a slight upgrade. No vision or instinct really. Relies on less cerebral attributes but can still get it done. Unless he drops the rock and puts shame on the family.
