Top sports memories
GREAT World Series this year - got me to thinking about the best games I have ever seen. Curious what others would say...
Here's my top 10: 1) Super Bowl 44 - never to be eclipsed unless by another Saints Super Bowl win 2) 2009 NFCCG win - gutting it out to make 1st Super Bowl 3) 2006 Domecoming - hair stands up thinking about that game. Was out of work and in Bentinville AR for a job interview the next day 4) 2000 Wildcard - FINALLY the playoff win drought ends! 5) 1987 week 11 - win over Steelers clinched first winning season 6) 1997 NBA Finals game 5 - Michael Jordan has flu but is still superhuman 7) 2016 World Series game 7 - great ending to best WS I have seen 8) 1998 NBA Finals game 6 - MJ hits kill shot on Jazz for 6th title. Walks away afterwards 9) 1995 World Series game 6 - Tom Glavine throws 1 hitter. Braves pitchers A++++ 10) 1989 NBA EC quarterfinals game 5 - Jordan hits the shot over Craig Ehlo. On way to becoming all-time great |

2005 NLCS Game 5. Cardinals down 2 with two outs and Houston was partying like the series was over and then Eckstein singled, Edmonds walked, then Fat Albert HR!!! Stadium was so quiet you could hear Pujols feet hit the dirt rounding the bases.
2011 Saints/49ers playoff game. Rollercoaster of emotions, specially at the end. Just if. lol |

Re: Top sports memories
That 2011 playoff game against the 49ers took my hate of that franchise to a new level (and I thought it could not get any more)...

Re: Top sports memories
Bobby Hebert getting flipped over and landing on his head, got a concussion and when he got up he smiled and his two front top teeth were gone. I believe that was in the first quarter of a Buccaneers road game, and if memory serves me right that tough SOB made it back into the game by the third quarter.
