The 49ers allowed their fourth-most yards in franchise history (571, only 13 shy of the franchise record set in 1965). They also yielded a 100-yard rusher for a seventh straight game (Mark Ingram), while also letting Drew Brees’ completions repeatedly carve them up for third-down conversions. This marked the sixth time the 49ers have given up over 30 points this season.
