Re: Andrus Peat
Having Armstead active on gamedays when he's just not healthy hurts the team overall. I would like to see Peat and Turner man the left side especially now that the Saints are running the ball more. The whole offensive line would be a bunch of maulers.

Re: Andrus Peat
Peat is gonna get eaten alive vs Miller. There's no way he can shore the left side by himself. I would've felt a bit more comfortable if Armstead was playing vs Broncos. He should've been sitting vs 9ers but that's hindsight for ya..

Re: Andrus Peat
Khalil Mack is good but he is still a media darling since the draft so I take the hype with a grain of salt.
Miller is a different story. He is all of that and more. Zach and Peat will have their hands full. I expect a lot of dual TE sets. Heavy loaded sets and chip blocking. This is when you wish Hoomanawanui was healthy. All around TE is huge in games like this. with injuries like we have. Go freaky if we keep winning and tumble down the board R 1 - O.J. Howard TE Alabama 6055 251 4.57 #88 Sr Howard the next Jimmy Graham with much better blocking skills Or just settling on some steady Butt later in 2017? R2 - Jake Butt TE Michigan 6051 250 4.74 #88 Sr - A Mr Reliable all around TE. The next Tyler Eifert? Upside to develop into the next Jason Whitten? So the question would be: Take a chance on the skill set of Howard over the steadiness of Butt? As we tumble down the draft board these two are solid options I will watch for the need factor in the draft in a game like this. Heck draft both? LMAO |
Re: Andrus Peat
I hope we're moving up the draft boards myself. :bng:
