Once again, if you take the time and read the article it mentions that the NFLPA has been waiting for the opportunity to challenge the league office over the policy for some time. This is exactly why the confidentiality clause is in place. People are condemning the player when he has not even been convicted.

He was playing well for the Saints...........time for a random drug test!!!

Edit: I was that skinny little wired up little kid who would regularly get up and run around the class room and then sit back down breathless or be doing head stands in the back of the room. I was constantly in trouble and at the time we just got our butt whooped in the principals office daily........then again at home. On the flip side that high energy has translated very nicely to my rugby game. So there's that. :wink:

My twin and I were evaluated numerous times as young children by outside psychologists brought in by the school system when the counselors failed. My parents told the teachers to take depressants because their children weren't. I was in my mid thirties when my mother called and told me she saw on TV what was wrong with me. I had a case of extreme hyperactive ADHD! I started taking Ritalin and my life fell into focus immediately. Anyway, Adderall sucks and I don't like the way it makes me feel. So I stay away from it.

Still, people who aren't ADHD take it and get revved up......not just focused. Therein lines the problem.

Doesn't Adderall also mask steroid use which is why the league bans it?

Kenny shouldn't be taking it if it's banned, for the sake of the team, but this is kind of dumb. And as others have already said, who knows what he actually took.

Because you need a prescription for it. It's an amphetimine. If he took them without a prescription not only is it a violation of league policy but it's also illegal. It's like meth for people without ADD especially if you crush it under a credit card or drivers licence and roll up a dollar bill and snort it.... For people with ADD it can be calming and help with focus. It will keep you inn "the zone" big time.

This makes perfect sense as the administrators are not supposed to alert the league unless a 'B' sample comes back positive. Obviously Rapoport's "source" was not a league source. The guy is a scumball.
