this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; NEXT GEN STATS: The Saints' throwback plan. Maybe it was simply a coincidence that Sean Payton decided to turn back the clock on the New Orleans Saints' offense as the rest of America turned back the clocks in their living ...

I hope this is the turning of the corner for Ingram.
He played great last week and not taking anything away from him, but the 9ers D is awful. The challenge now for Ingram is to run with that same determination and tenacity against every D he faces. Tim Hightower came off the bench and ran straight down Seattle's throat, Ingram needs to take advantage of every opportunity much like Hightower does. Sean Payton had a great quote about Hightower which went something like "If you need 2 yards, Tim gets you 4, if you need 6 yards, Tim gets you 8." |

Perhaps Les Miles has been advising Payton of late.
He does have time on his hands. Jack Spratt could eat no fat. His wife could eat no lean. But, between the two. They licked the platter clean. Offensive balance! |

Yeah, us wanna-be GMs and Coaches who've been saying we needed balance on offense and to be a tougher team that can pound the ball didn't know WTF we were talking about these past three years...
But Q's echoes the most accurate sentiment - "It's about time." |
