Update: The Cowboys have told Nguyen and his agent, Jim Steiner, that he won\'t be part of any trade for Saints defensive end Darren Howard, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Recommendation: Nguyen is not the prototypical Bill Parcells, 3-4 linebacker, but Dallas apparently doesn\'t want to lose his play-making ability.

Judging by thier reaction to all of this(Dallas)

One can only assume that it is Dallas who will ultimately be the team that ends up with Howard, so far, they have shown the most interest.

Jerry Jones has been quoted as saying He doesn\'t want to trade for Draft picks, how true he stands by this statement is yet to be seen..

But, for arguments sake...Who else would Dallas be willing to give over in a fair trade for Howard?

I really don\'t see any possibilities, other than Draft picks...

Since they don\'t want to get rid of Dat...Compensation for Howard would have to come in the form of 1st round pick...

Unless they were to give 2 or more decent players..plus a 4th or lower pick..And I really don\'t see the Saints FO going for that...

I am becoming more convinced that the only viable option, for Dallas, is top picks..unless they want to give a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th...and they won\'t..It will HAVE to be a 1st...right?

Howard won\'t net a first from ANY team, so that\'s out.

11 sacks a year is darn good, but not elite status.

The trade sounded good to me, but it doesn\'t seem like Dat will be involved. I hope a trade gets done though.
