If I was an NFL Communist:
- Reduce commercials. I'd rather watch the onfield activity during timeouts than another painful volley of Toyota or Sprint advertisements. Remember the 70's and the two-commercials-interims?
- Stay with one set of uniforms. It is getting out of control with some teams. And totally trash the Browns' current theme. It's bad enough they are collegiate caliber talent. They don't have to look the part.
- NFL preview shows: Don't get me started. I say only one hour for each show. Cover every single game going on with equal respectable depth, not just the "marquee" two or three games that get the spotlight. And cut down on the number of analysts from eighteen to maybe two or three. Do we need the population of Rhode Island 'discussing' metrics and strategies? ......and so on.
- Rookie salary caps. Prove your worth before you take your $$$ to the hospice.
- Stadiums. Stop trying to make stadiums bigger than the Jones's (not Jerry, ut ita dicam).
- All apologies to other nations, but keep the NFL in America. If other nations want to see American style football, they reserve the right to form leagues of their own.
- Five yards and a first down for PI calls.
- I'm not bitter, but playing Frogger over the center to block field goals has to go.
