Um that "buyer beware" was due to a badly torn labrum, not performance. The Chargers had two winning seasons in 2004 and 2005 and went 12-4 and won the AFC West with Brees in 2004. Brees was a top 10 NFL QB in 2005 with 3500+ yards and 24 TDs.

Brees in 2005 and Garoppolo now are like apples and gorillas.

If trading for him would include a draft pick I much rather spend that pick on drafting a young QB instead.
