I think you're on to something here. Year in and year out, the D goes home with the trophy. The only folk who don't believe that are the folk with crappy defenses (and no trophy).

Would like to get revenge on the Bucks and Atlanta. Our season is basically over but I don't think these guys are going to lay down for a division opponent and we shouldn't. I also believe Benson has to consider moving on with this staff. They are going to beg for another year and probably get it from Him but I don't feel like they deserve it. If it was me I think I would pull the trigger and bring in another staff. Maybe keep Brees for another year but bring in his replacement now. I think this is where our first pick should come if not surely the second round. I like Kizer and Trubisky

The thing I like about the Pats D is they get it done consistently but they are rarely a "sexy" defense. Don't lead the league in sacks or yardage allowed. They have a lot of seemingly average NFL defenders like Sheard, Chris Long, Ninkovich, McClellin, Logan Ryan, Chung but somehow they play very well year after year despite all the names coming and going. There's a reliability we need to emulate.

For the final 3 games I want to see more of the Saintsations.
I am never disappointed watching them perform..........

Put everyone on IR and have tryouts from the CFL.

You could very well be right, I'm just in a kind of kill'em all and let God sort;em out sort of mood right now. I think it was the hold the other team to sixteen points and still lose game that got me that way.
