What do you want to see from the final 3 games?

Ick. Selling out for draft spots is almost as bad as putting fantasy football over real football. Actually it may be worse.

Hey I feel the guy, were there any of us that were hoping for a fall off the cliff dive by Has at the end that would jettison him from the team? I have my hand raised. We are basically reliving the Haslett years at this point. I mean he was always good for 7-9 to 9-7. As well as the perennial crap start through first 4 games or crap end through 4 games. There's a lot of similarities as of late

Also off the field. Mid life kinda stuff. The passion is gone. Nothing like when they both started out.

Watching a lot of the Patriots this year. That team is nothing like other teams. Who can honestly win games with a 3rd string QB. Well they can. They have the game planning and adjustments down. They had two WR's banged up this week. No problem, they still got it done even after two Saints style turnovers.

I think you're on to something here. Year in and year out, the D goes home with the trophy. The only folk who don't believe that are the folk with crappy defenses (and no trophy).

The thing I like about the Pats D is they get it done consistently but they are rarely a "sexy" defense. Don't lead the league in sacks or yardage allowed. They have a lot of seemingly average NFL defenders like Sheard, Chris Long, Ninkovich, McClellin, Logan Ryan, Chung but somehow they play very well year after year despite all the names coming and going. There's a reliability we need to emulate.
