The former No. 1 draft choice, released by Seattle last week, has landed in New Orleans for a free-agent visit with the Saints. When healthy, Simmons possesses the speed and athletic ability that made him Seattle’s top pick in 1998. But after clashing with coaches and missing 20 games to injury since 2002, Simmons is looking for a second chance. |
