6th ranked O line? ... Brees makes this Oline (at least statistically) appear far better than what it truly is. |

Re: Welcome to the Saints, Larry?
Larry is a great player, but one that is possibly declining. Take a look at his yards per reception, it is at 9.7. His average last year was 11.1, and 12.8 for his career. Of course several things could be factoring into these numbers, I don't watch Arizona enough to know much more than what I see in the stat sheet on him.

We can't count on that again.
Actually our O-line looks like it falters in the second half and isn't as good as they were earlier in the year. So.....yes we need new talent and youth along the offensive line and better depth. Oh yeah, Unger ain't no spring chicken either and our backups are all UDFA's. You can't build a line like that. |

Re: Welcome to the Saints, Larry?
Larry Fitzgerald is one of my favourite all-time players in the league. A consummate professional that can do it all.
With all that said I still don't know if it would be a wise move to add him to the mix. We got 3 great WRs in Cooks, Thomas and Snead. And a decent one in the improving Coleman at the 4th spot. I don't see what spot Larry could fill really at this stage of his career. |
