My point here is, that Brees is an elite QB. His numbers prove that. Yes he's had some bad games, but dude you can't say he's "not elite" because he had a few bad games. Rodgers has had injuries on offense the last two seasons EVERYWHERE. He has no running game and the packers weapons really are not better than ours. He has a aging wide receiver in Nelson who didn't show up early in the season. He's had oline issues as well. But Rodgers has also expressed his disappointment with McCarthy.

I'm not entirely blaming Brees. I'm blaming Payton. The best coach and qb tandems of all time did not miss the playoffs two years in a row, let alone three. Payton did put us in this mess with his actions in 2014 and if Brees wants to be a top passig qb he's got to have the offensive protection come first. If he was willing to hand it off as a game manager, that's different but he's not doing that. The way the saints are building bothers me.

If we are winning next year get ready to hear about BG and Katrina because that's what you get when you have flash in the pan seasons.
