Saints vs Bucs Game Day Thread
 

The New Orleans Saints (6-8) defeated the Arizona Cardinals last weekend and will look to make it two in a row on Christmas Eve when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 3:25 p.m. CT Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The game can be seen locally on WVUE-FOX 8.

New Orleans leads the series, 30-19, but the Buccaneers beat the Saints just two weeks ago, 16-11.

I just want to win out. And I'd rather damage our NFC South opponents and their playoff chances as much as possible.

I hope that the team has this mentality:

We're done before we play a down. I would like to see the rookie play mostly to see how Tampas D does against a more mobile qb. He might pull it off.

He thinks we still have that rookie QB that we took from GB weeks ago then lost him a week later because we needed to activate another player to the active roster.

Kind of like Will. A fan for 10 whole years, all of them in the Drew Brees era. And he thinks Brees is **** and needs to be replaced. You know? Cause we can just pick another one off the QB tree.

I'm gonna go out on a very short limb and say that Grayson's not the answer to our future. Sitting Brees would be a slap in the face to the best QB to ever put on a Saints uniform.

My bad!! But in a meaningless game for Brees other than padding stats, it would be nice to see what we have behind Brees. Brees isn't going to last forever is what I;m thinking.

Tough spot sitting guys, tough for organizations and tough for fans....there will be people at the game who have saved every penny to see there first game and to see players like Drew in person play, Just a crappy place for everyone. I took my 10 year old son to see Cal Ripken play the Mariners, bought tickets well in advance, great chance to see a HOF, and no sh@t, he sat out, yes, it was the summer he stopped the streak. Happens I guess, you don't want guys hurt, but fans deserve to see there heroes play.

Payton always trying to make players into something they are not. He would turn Blount into a skatback. Cooks is no better than Jamison Crowder, both undersized. Not WR1 material.
