this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Morstead explained sometime back that he was happy to give up the kickoff duties because the kicking motions for punting and placekicking are radically different and he felt it was hurting his punting....

The Patriots seem to be the closest team today that espouses and expects multiple skill sets from football players. It seemed for a fleeting moment SP was headed there with our Saints.
