Saints with 7th best record in the last ten years

The top 6 teams draft well year in and year out. I'll go out on a limb and guess each teams' dead money is bottom half of the league also.

3. Falcons $25,515,681
4. Lions $24,640,869

6. Rams $21,289,406
7. Bills $18,545,345
8. Titans $18,025,957
9. Colts $17,134,153
10. Dolphins $16,872,639
12. Patriots $16,653,725
16. Giants $14,597,316

So, five of the playoff teams were in the upper half of dead money in 2016, including the Falcons at #3 and the Lions at #4. And how about those annually successful Patriots at #12?

And, in addition, the Saints 2017 dead money figure will be right at $9 million.
