Furthermore, the last ten years means nothing and all of those double digit win seasons have been surrounded by no less than 7 wins. We are also underneath all of the other notable teams who had runs from 2006. We're probably the top of the rest of the pack. |

10-6
7-9 8-8 13-3 11-5 13-3 7-9 11-5 7-9 7-9 7-9 You call that 50% Gonna go ahead and make sure to state that Damian Swann has been hurt the better part of two years, Kikaha missed all of last year, similar injuries in college, Williams has played 1.5 games out of 32 since entering the NFL, Ellerbe will miss a good half the season. I am not counting on these guys to make huge contributions. They may, but counting on it would not be smart. |

As much as I like Kikaha I'm afraid the ACL injuries (3) are going to doom
him in the NFL. |

Last 3 years we sucked. Bottom line SP has to find a way to break through this funk. Don't waste another year of Drew.

The top 6 teams draft well year in and year out. I'll go out on a limb and guess each teams' dead money is bottom half of the league also.

2016 top dead money list (playoff teams in bold) 1. Saints $42,117,529 2. Browns $34,769,318 3. Falcons $25,515,681 4. Lions $24,640,869 5. Eagles $23,450,018 6. Rams $21,289,406 7. Bills $18,545,345 8. Titans $18,025,957 9. Colts $17,134,153 10. Dolphins $16,872,639 12. Patriots $16,653,725 16. Giants $14,597,316 So, five of the playoff teams were in the upper half of dead money in 2016, including the Falcons at #3 and the Lions at #4. And how about those annually successful Patriots at #12? And, in addition, the Saints 2017 dead money figure will be right at $9 million. |
